Account Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of a Hgeie account and related personal information. Deleting the app from a device only removes the local software. To close an account, you must submit a deletion request.

1. How to Request Deletion

• In app: open account settings and use the account deletion entry if it is available.
• By email: send a message to hgeie2026@yahoo.com with the subject "Hgeie Account Deletion".

2. What to Include

Include your user id, login identifier, display name, and any details that help us locate the account. We may ask for additional information to verify that you are the account holder or a legally authorized representative.

3. What We Delete or De-Identify

After verification, Hgeie will remove or de-identify account profile fields such as display name, avatar, signature, login-related identifiers, private preferences, and direct account relationship data where technically practical.

Public or shared content, including craft posts, comments, group discussions, challenge activity, likes, and replies, may be deleted, hidden, or detached from your identity. Some discussion context may remain without personal attribution so other users' conversations and safety records are not disrupted.

4. Limited Retention

We may retain limited records for security, fraud prevention, payment support, dispute handling, legal obligations, App Store compliance, backup rotation, and moderation evidence. Records connected with reports, blocks, abusive users, or removed objectionable content may be retained where necessary to keep the community safe.

5. Timeline

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within thirty (30) calendar days. A shorter period will be honored where required by law. Additional time may be needed for complex technical, safety, or legal review.

6. Loss of Access

After deletion, you may lose access to saved tutorials, posts, comments, group memberships, challenge sign-ups, messages, subscriptions, gifts, and other Hgeie functions tied to that account. Deleted account information may not be recoverable.
